Free Citizenship Classes (Year Round)

Citizenship classes prepare students for the USCIS citizenship exam and interview. Citizenship classes are ideal for high-beginning and intermediate ESL students.

Note: Per Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) regulations, free ESL classes are not intended for au pairs, tourists, or short-term visitors. They are intended for individuals who have come to live in the United States long term. They may enroll in our supplemental tuition ESL classes. 

*Free classes are funded by ICCB. In compliance with Section 511 of Public Law 101-166 (the Stevens Amendment), approximately 33 percent of the adult education program is federally funded.
