Train for a new career in just 10 weeks with our International training program. Upon completion students will be eligible to work for interpreting agencies, become independent contractors, or pursue further credentialing with the CMI or CCHI certification exams. Join a profession that makes a difference. Community interpreters are needed wherever communication is needed between people who do not share a common language. This course prepares you to be a Medical and Community Interpreter.
To enroll, students must be proficient in English and a second language. The course will be taught in English and students will be grouped according to their second language. Upon completing the 60-hour course, you will be eligible to take the certification exam offered by either CMI or CCHI (two certifications most preferred by prospective employers).
