Course Description

Advanced topics of programmable controllers used to manage several output devices based on the input of various sensors, including analog devices, are covered in the course. Students will learn to program, edit, download, and run a sequence of events utilizing Allen-Bradley based trainers. In addition, FactoryTalk View Studio software is used to develop screen layouts for Human Machine Interface (HMI) devices. Extensive troubleshooting of automation systems is integrated in the course. Prerequisite: MCH A23 or consent of instructor.
