Course Description

Join our Exploration Team to discover the infinite world of Microbiology. With the invention of the microscope, scientists were able to see this tiny universe of microorganisms and discovered how they play crucial roles in all aspects of life, from decomposition to causing disease. Students will observe these invisible creatures using microscopes. They will examine the local flora and fauna and learn about leading scientists and their discoveries. Students will be introduced to the research and microbiology career pathways. 

This class offers a variety of fun and challenging hands-on activities. Children work in groups just like real scientists and engineers as they study and investigate a variety of STEAM projects. Take one or take both exploration classes; each class offers new lessons and insights to the world on STEAM.
