Course Description

We introduce one of the most revolutionary assets of all time... Bitcoin. With no technical knowledge required, you will learn how Bitcoin’s underlying technology (blockchain) works, and why it is the next generation of the internet (web 3.0). We’ll also introduce other cryptocurrencies and the purposes they serve. From there, we look to the future to see how these technologies may evolve and why they are important to the future of finance. Oakton Community College’s instructor, Jessica Levesque, is an educational consultant and executive director of the cryptocurrency industry’s most well known non-profit certifying organization.
