Henry David Thoreau was a signal prose stylist, naturalist, abolitionist and philosopher. He was a central figure with the American Transcendentalism movement, meeting frequently with other major Transcendentalists such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Margaret Fuller and Amos Bronson Alcott. Join Phil Seitz, Ph.D., as we read Walden in its entirety.
